Second week of January this year we went on duty to Moi's Bridge Market. .A Kikuyu family had by chance taken a dead body of their dead relative from Kitale Town Morgue and buried it in Moi's Bridge It turned out that they had taken the wrong body-of a Luo(a tribe) man. So we were dispatched to go with the Luo family to unearth this body. To many here it was traditionally an abomination .The villagers said if we dug up the grave, it could bring evil spirits and a curse to the village. I gave my gun and my beret to another police officer and took out the Bible I carry in my jungle jacket. and declared that I am the very pastor in charge. I preached God's love and that there are no more curses to born-again people because Jesus took our curses. I preached that any born-again person is in the safe hands of God now and in eternal life .People responded to my message and twenty people got born-again including my fellow police officers.
