Emanuel came to PATHWAYS, our ministry to children living on the street. 10 year old Emmanuel was covered with sores and itching like crazy. As we helped him clean up and gave him different clothes, he told us his incredible story. Emmanuel’s parents both died of AIDS in a hospital in Sololo, which is on the Ethiopian border. A man brought him to school in Meru where Emmanuel was labeled with multiple mental problems. This school’s care included severe canning. Emmanuel escaped his prison and ran to the streets. Mike and I immediately took him into our home. That first week, we saw God’s healing flowing out to him. The sores dried up so in a few days. He is now Born-again and has an everlasting Father who will always be kind and never leave him.
