When both of his parents died in 2005, James and his brother and sister were sent to a boarding school. James endured the typical physical abuse and beatings at school so that they all could stay together. However one day after receiving a terrible caning by the teacher, James ran to the streets. He then was picked to live with a city councilor and his wife and attend a private school. However after the councilor lost the election in August 2008 James was no longer a political asset but became a burden so he was thrown back to the streets . Then in March 2009 Mike took him into his foster family. James was an exceptional student but he had no confidence left in himself or in others. Slowly he has learned to relax and begin to trust us. More importantly he is beginning to trust His Heavenly Father who will never reject him or leave him alone.
